Cacao and Death Rain BBQ Crusted Steaks

Cacao and Death Rain BBQ Crusted pan seared steaks! What a combination!
Ingredients:
  • 4 nice sized Kobe’ T-Bone steaks about 1-2 inches thick
 Rub:
  • 1/4 cup of finely ground pure cacao or the best dark (bitter) chocolate you can find!
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. Blair’s Death Rain BBQ Rub
Instructions:

Combine the ingrediants and rub into the steaks and let sit 2 hrs or overnight in the refridgerator.  Crank up the good skillet until smoking hot. sear steaks until desired temperature or doneness, remove steaks from pan and let rest with a cover of foil or towel to keep them warm.

Deglaze the pan with a slightly sweet red wine such as a Shiraz use 1/2 to 3/4 cup and add any juice from the plate that the steaks are resting on.

Drizzle over steaks and ENJOY!
