Mango Ginger Thai Fried Rice w/Shrimp

Fischer & Wieser have a good thing going with their Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce. And the hot sauce experts at Peppers of Key West are not the only ones who think so. Fiery Foods Magazine awarded this hot sauce a third place Scovie Award in their Condiments/Meat Sauce Category back in 2000 and this sauce is still going strong!

So what is it that makes this sauce so great? It’s Fischer & Wieser’s special blend of mango, apple cider vinegar, honey, ginger, red pepper flakes, and habanero peppers that makes this sauce a winner. It may be among most mild offerings to be found at Peppers of Key West, but it’s a super-flavorful sweet habanero sauce that won’t leave you hanging.

So what can you put this sauce on? you might ask. What can’t you put it on? Use it as a glaze on lamb, fish, and grilled pork or chicken. Stir it into crab or lobster salad. Use it as a dip for crab cakes or shrimp cocktail. Want to enjoy Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce at your next party? Just pour some over cream cheese and serve with crackers for a sweet and salty treat!

And this is a sauce that is yet more versatile. You can use Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce on fruit as well. One of the things I like about grilling here in Key West is that we do it year-round. And one of my favorite things to grill is fruit, particularly stone fruit like peaches and nectarines. This sauce is a perfect basting sauce for any kind of grilled fruit. For that reason, it also works really well on kebabs that include pineapple. Or if you prefer fruit in all its natural glory, just add a few generous shakes of Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce to your fruit salad to add a subtle zing.

Don’t let the habanero fool you; Fischer & Wieser’s Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce is a very mild sauce that will start your non-chili head on the path toward heat!
