Carolina Reaper peppers are one of the hottest peppers in the world with an average heat level of 1,400,000SHU. The Carolina Reaper has fruity flavor, unique wrinkly, and pitted surface, The Carolina Reaper has a shape similar to the peppers in the Trinidad scorpion family. The Carolina reaper peppers are long season peppers like many of the other super hot peppers.  We grow Carolina Reaper plants in several different geographic locales to diversify the crop and ensure stock all year around. We dry Carolina reaper pepper pods, and grind them into a powder, flakes or dried whole pods.
