Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings, wing tips removed
- Honey BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup Charlie’s Hard Times Honey Mustard Barbeque Sauce
- ½ cup Third Coast’s Honey Chipotle Pepper Glaze
- 1 tablespoon Psycho Soy Sauce
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Oil, for deep-fat frying
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine the Psycho Soy Sauce, Charlie’s Hard Times Honey Mustard Barbeque Sauce and Third Coast’s Honey Chipotle Pepper Glaze. Bring to a boil; cook until the sauce has thickened. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, paprika and pepper. Add the wings, a few at a time, and toss to coat.
- In a deep heavy bottomed skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°.
- Fry the wings, a few at a time not crowding them in the pan, until they are golden brown, no longer pink inside and cooked completely, about 4-5 minutes on each side. (the time needed to cook depends on the size of the wings of course)
- Remove the wings from the oil with tongs and place the wings on paper towels to drain.
- Transfer the still hot wings to a large bowl; add the sauce and toss to coat the wings completely.
- Serve hot.
