We’ve worked long and hard over a hot stove – admittedly – with a number of beers – to bring to you the first Peppers of Key West green hot sauce. It is so new we haven’t had a good picture taken of it yet. We decided to use the often ignored Serrano pepper as the featured chili and blended it with a healthy dose of vinegar. As this is my first sauce creation and has very few ingredients (7 to be specific). The sauce is a purists dream with only Vinegar, Serrano Peppers, Salt, Sugar, Garlic, Xanthan Gum (as a stabilizer) and Sorbic Acid (as the preservative). If you are familiar with our other sauces, regarding heat, our Serrano sauce is slightly hotter than our Habanero sauce (old #2) but not quite as hot as our ghost pepper sauce. All in all, we are very happy with the way it turned out and hope you are as well!
