Pain Is Good Gift Box
This is a 3 bottle box of our best selling Pain is Good hot sauce products. The Pain is Good box includes their Louisiana Style, Jalapeno, and Gochujang hot sauces. See below for the excellently flavored concoctions… I know, what the heck is Gochujang – if you are here looking, you probably know already but for the unknowing, Gochugaru is one of the most important Korean ingredients. It is used in gochujang (Korean chili paste), kimchi, spicy Korean soups and stews (e.g. sundubu jjigae) and spicy Korean side dishes (e.g. Korean cucumber salad). Gochugaru is often vibrantly red in color and it has mild to moderate spicy taste with a hint of sweetness. However, gochugaru tastes quite different to other non-Korean standard chili powder and chili flakes varieties (e.g. cayenne pepper powder). It is much milder in taste in comparison, so it is best not to substitute with them. The quality and level of spiciness in gochugaru will vary depending on its origin and its specific farming conditions. The Pain is Good Gochujang Hot Sauce is one of the few if not the best Gochujangs we have found. When I tested for my black belt, my grand master had us over for dinner and served kimchi. Let me tell you, none of us had before nor knew what kimchi was. I don’t know my grand master used this as and initiation but holy shi* it was hot! I use this phenomenal sauce in remembrance of my grand master and that experience. Pain is Good Batch Jalapeno Hot Sauce is just about as good as a Jalapeno hot sauce can get. If you love traditional style hot sauces, then this is the one for you. You find the tangy flavor of the jalapeno pepper with the heat of habanero’s and it is sure to add a deep southern flavor to anything you add it to. You can buy some jalapeno style hot sauce right off your grocery store shelf, but we’re here to tell you that stuff doesn’t even come close to the quality and taste of Pain is Good. One of our favorites here at Peppers of Key West is to marinate chicken breast with Pain is Good Jalapeno Hot Sauce and then paint it on while we grill it. You end up with some fiery looking chicken that will retain a good amount of the heat and a whole lot of the flavor. Throw that chicken on a roll and top with some jack cheese for a change to the old burgers and dogs BBQ. As an added bonus, you get the great face on the packaging staring at you while you cook. It adds a little bit of humorous anticipation to the whole experience. Pain is Good Batch #218 Louisiana Style Hot Sauce is just about as good as a Louisiana style sauce can get.
