It’s a robust flavor pepper with a nice snap of heat. Dat’l Do-It Devil Drops Hot Sauce is slightly hotter than Dat’l Do-It Original, but it won’t create outrage in your stomach. If you are a fan of real big pepper flavor, then this is the sauce for you.
Datil peppers are not used in a lot of sauces. That’s not because they aren’t amazing, it’s just that folks have rarely heard of them. A funny thing happens though. After people try a Datil Peppers hot sauce, they can’t get enough. We’re no different at Peppers of Key West and we love this sauce. For a really different batch of chili, add some Devil Drops for a kick of pepper flavor and some notable heat.
