Peppers is proud to present the third of three dry rubs in our line of products. We have not ventured into the world of dry rubs yet, but we have spent countless hours over a food processor blending and mixing ingredients to make a perfect blend of spices that will enhance specific foods. When you read the back of most dry rub labels, they will tell you the spice is good on everything. Pork, Chicken, Beef, Seafood, Vegetables, the list goes on.
I may be biased but our Fish Seasoning is the perfect blend of the finest ingredients and spices to bring out the flavor of every morsel of specifically fish or seafood. Generously coat flounder, bass, grouper, salmon, or any other water born animal. Let the fish rest for about 30 minutes to absorb the spices before cooking. Cook your fish slowly in a smoker or with indirect heat on the grill, in the oven or a slow cooker. The natural juices of the meat will mix with the rub to give your fish a sauce-like finish. For larger pieces of fish, work in as much rub as possible. For small cuts, dust with the rub and cook as usual.
