Hot Sauce Recipes

This recipe provided by the kitchens of Peppers of Key West:

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. chicken breast – diced, browned in skillet, and seasoned with salt & pepper
  • 1 – 8 oz. can crushed pineapple – drained well
  • 1 – 15 oz. can mandarin orange sections – drained well
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1-2 stalks (appr. 1/4 cup) celery – finely diced
  • 3 stalks (appr. 1/4 cup) green onion – thinly sliced
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Sauce Bitch Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions:

In large mixing bowl, combine seasoned chicken, pineapple, mandarins, golden raisins, celery, and green onion – mix well. Lightly cover with plastic wrap and let mixture stand for 5 minutes. Stir ingredients, then drain extra liquid from the bottom of the bowl, (mandarin orange segments have a tendency to release a lot of juice.) Add mayonnaise if desired. Last but not least, add 1/4 cup Sauce Bitch Hot Sauce, or more if you like it hot! As always, promptly refrigerate any leftovers, and ENJOY!
