Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 hot peppers, diced (your choice of jalapeno, habanero, etc.)
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 40 oz can kidney beans, drained
- 40 oz can pinto beans, drained
- 28 oz can tomato sauce
- 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Peppers of Key West Macho Beefy Steak Seasoning
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 bottle Palo Alto Fire Fighter Pepper Sauce
Directions:
- Cook ground beef/turkey in large pot with onion, peppers, Peppers of Key West Macho Beefy Steak Seasoning, cumin and cayenne, until meat is thoroughly cooked.
- Add remaining ingredients except Palo Alto Fire Fighter Pepper Sauce (note: do NOT drain, the spices infuse the oil/meat from the meat, which is the secret to good chili).
- Cook over medium heat until sauce just begins to bubble, add Palo Alto Fire Fighter Pepper Sauce, stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 to 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so).
- Serve with chips and shredded cheese.
