Peach Chipotle Jam is a bold yet mild jam that is excellent on a smoked turkey or a grilled chicken sandwich. As it’s name implies, Peach Chipotle Jam the sweet and savory flavor of peaches with the subtle smoky heat of the chipotle pepper. With a Peppers of Key West Heat Level rating of .5, Peach Chipotle Jam is really more tangy than it is spicy. It’s best used when you don’t want the heat for reasons of your guests tolerance, or simply want the great flavors of peppers without an overpowering heat.
At Peppers of Key West, some may occasionally accuse us of being extremely lighthearted. And, they would be correct. That said, we don’t mess around when it comes to peppers or the amazing chow we eat. So, for a bit more sophisticated take on Peach Chipotle Jam, serve alongside lamb, pork or poultry, pour over cream cheese or baked brie for an outstanding appetizer, top salmon mousse, or glaze stuffed peppers as they come out of the oven. Don’t forget to extend your pinky when you drink your wine either, it’s critically important. Some say that was a sign of royalty, we believe it provides much needed balance after a night of drinking. Dang, there we go again, back in the gutter.
