Hot is the third and middle step of the Peppers of Key West Hot Sauce Heat Ratings. I have personally tasted all of the products we carry and rated each one to give you the most accurate Hot Sauce Heat Rating possible. Hot Sauce ratings are from 4 to 6.9. Sauces closer to 4 will have a pretty good burn, more than just a bit. Sauces closer to 6.9 will have a lot of burn.
