Rum Raisin Hot Sauce from the kitchen right here at Peppers. We searched the high seas for the perfect ingredients for this sauce and after many attempts, we found the perfect blend of ingredients and peppers to make this sauce unique and tasty. We had to go all the way to Africa to bring in the Peri Peri pepper and then added Cayenne pepper to round out the flavor with a deeper smokiness. As the name implies, we combined the sweetness of dark rum, raisins, and honey with the tangy flavor of pineapple to create a hot sauce that's sweet, but not sugary. For that authentic hot sauce taste we all love, we went beyond ordinary vinegar and included apple cider vinegar instead. Of course, there's our own secret blend of spices that really make this sauce an original.
It took us over a year to perfect this addition to our offerings and we think that shows through in the quality and taste of this hand crafted hot sauce.
