Peach Chipotle Jam is a robust jam that blends the delicacy of ripe peaches with smoky chipotle peppers for an amazing flavor treat. There's very little heat, but tons of flavor in this well made jam. I am a big fan of the simple perfection of a good PB&J sandwich. In all honesty, I find that jams are not a good replacement for jelly in a good PB&J. That said, ever have a cream cheese and jelly sandwich? If not, step away from the computer and go get one. Seriously, they are that good. Jam's are the perfect replacement for jelly in cream cheese and jelly, or jam, sandwiches. Peach Chipotle Jam makes a truly tasty one at that.
Of course, at Peppers of Key West, we're not one trick ponies and we love to serve Peach Chipotle Jam with homemade cornbread, brush on grilled chicken, glaze ham or serve over goat cheese with a hearty multi-grain cracker. Our favorite? Whisk Peach Chipotle Jam with a splash of apple cider vinegar and toss with mixed baby greens, sliced grilled chicken, strawberries and peach slices for a delightful salad!!
