PEPPERS of Key West

Pappy's XXX White Lightning Barbecue Sauce gives a sweet robust flavor with a hint of hickory. The slight sweetness and tang of Pappy's XXX White Lightnin Barbecue Sauce tastes fabulous on pulled pork, baby back ribs, and of course chicken. With a name like "Pappy's" you might expect a good old fashioned deep southern style BBQ sauce. If that's the case, then you would be correct. You might even expect it to have a kick like moonshine, considering the "white lightning" part of the name. Fact is, some folks indeed like to eat BBQ with a little dipping dish of high test alcohol for an extra kick. Not that I can speak from experience, but I can imagine that Pappy's XXX White Lightnin Barbecue Sauce would actually go quite well with that method. If that's not your thing, you can still rest assured that this is one fine BBQ sauce and as an added bonus, it won't make you go blind from consuming it.

At Pepper of Key West, there's a lot in a name. Folks tend to really enjoy some of the products with more creative names. For us, though, that's imply not enough. If the product tastes like you could find a replacement at your local grocery store, we won't carry it. Creative names are fun, but they have to be backed up high quality, great tasting food products. Pappy's XXX White Lightnin Barbecue Sauce might lure you in with it's novel name, but you'll come back faster than the speed of light for some more.
