Mountain Man Chipotle BBQ Sauce isn't your mother's BBQ sauce- unless you live deep in the mountains. As soon as you open this bottle, you'll want to go out and hunt down some meat to slather it on. This isn't a fiery hot, hot sauce type of BBQ sauce. It's a good old fashioned, rub your meat down and eat with your hands type of BBQ sauce. There is a dash of chipotle added for some earthy, smokey flavor and just a hair of spiciness. It's the perfect mixture for an all around good and hearty BBQ meal. At Peppers of Key West, we believe there are at least two phases to good and simple BBQ cooking. The first is to baste and flip your meat while it's on the grill. The second is to make sure you have a healthy serving left over to dip in. If you have the time and desire, bathing your meat in Mountain Man Chipotle BBQ Sauce for a few hours before grilling won't hurt any and, of course, always use wood or charcoal (without the lighter fluid soaked in) anytime you can. If time and equipment prohibit the last two, that's okay, just trust in the Mountain Man and all will be good. Don't be surprised if you find yourself shopping for a raccoon hat after eating this sauce- it's normal, just be aware that people may look at you a bit strange if you visit us here at Peppers of Key West while wearing it.
