Elvis Don't Be Cruel Hot Sauce is a Jalapeno based hot sauce, so why is it red? Red Japaleno's are used as well as Ketchup. The latter might seem strange, but is it if you recall Elvis' PB & Banana fame? It just seems right that ketchup would be loved by Elvis too. People often as us if the Elvis hot sauces are any good, or just a gimmicky name. When we hear that question, we get put straight into the Heartbreak Hotel. The reality is that catchy names are great fun, but Peppers of Key West won't carry any hot sauce that fails our taste testing process. Elvis Don't Be Cruel Hot Sauce passes with flying colors, as do all of the Elvis Hot Sauce's we carry.

Because this is a sweeter, red, ketchup based sauce, you can go ahead and experiment on foods you would normally put ketchup on and not have to worry that you'll ruin the whole dish with a bad match up.
