Dave's Chipotle Powder is made with dried chipotle peppers, and that's about it. The chipotle pepper has a unique smokey taste that is most commonly attributed to southwest fare. It can be used to add flavor directly to your favorite dishes, just as you would use salt and pepper. Dave's Chipotle Powder can also be used to add flavor to your favorite dishes and sauces as you cook them. At Peppers of Key West, we add various peppers to pretty much everything. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Some things you may not think to sprinkle Dave's Chipotle Powder on, but that are actually really good are: pasta, baked potatoes, vegetables, soups, pizza, and popcorn. The last one, popcorn, is a Peppers of Key West favorite. In fact, adding any dry pepper to popcorn is really good. The preferred method is to dump your popcorn into a big bowl, right out of the pot, and sprinkle a hefty dose of dry pepper spice on top. Then toss the popcorn in the bowl to coat every little popped kernel and enjoy!
