Amazon Green Hot Sauce has become one of the most popular products we carry. There's good reason for that. Produced in the deep recesses of the Amazon jungle, or more specifically, Cartagena, Columbia, Amazon Green Hot Sauce is a very basic sauce for you purists, with only green Amazon peppers, cane vinegar, Turmeric, sugar, sea salt, and xantham gum for thickening. It's not a very hot sauce, although there is respectable amount of heat, but it is very unique in that its made with Amazaon green peppers. because of the basic list of ingredients, Amazon Green Hot Sauce retains it's true color- green of course.
One of our favorite things about many Hot Sauces is the minimal amount of processing they undergo. We like our food as natural as possible and this is a great example of that. If you've ever had green "hot sauce" from a chain restaurant, you've probably found one of two things- either it's not hot or it tastes just like a red hot sauce. That's because it's processed to a point where the green peppers lose their heat and flavor. To make up for that, manufacturers will add red pepper ingredients to make it hot again- so it tastes like a red pepper sauce, but it's green.
You won't find that with Amazon Green Hot Sauce. It's green, tastes like green peppers, and has the heat of the green peppers.
